A Special Message from the General Chairmen

Well, we have some bad news and some good news.
We spoke with John Marshall yesterday, and he has suffered a serious setback in his recuperation. While he is still recovering well, his pain level is still very high, and his medical team is still trying to figure out the best ways to manage it. John is currently taking several different pain medications designed to provide some level of comfort. While John is optimistic that they will eventually get things under control, his medical team has advised him against a 6-hour cross-country flight. As a result, he will not be able to join us for this year's Golden State Round Up.

We do, however, have a great solution!

Two callers we've enjoyed over the past couple of years -- Bryan Clark from British Columbia and Dave Heffron from the San Diego area -- were already planning to attend Golden State Round Up as dancers. They have graciously agreed to fill John's calling assignments across the weekend. What a great couple of guys!

Everything else is on track for the weekend, and we are looking forward to a great time. Please keep John in your thoughts and prayers, and be sure to show Bryan and Dave your appreciation when you see them at Golden State Round Up!
